I have a workbook with multiple sheets.  It's a database with each row as a
record.  Each sheet starts with a Name and ID Number feild which are the same
throughout all the sheets.  When on sheet one, if I scroll to record 150 to
reveiw data on that sheet, the other sheets don't ...

I want to find 12.5 % of 6000 in excel. I have to find percentage of many
more numbers.what formula is used?

The Name Box in Excel should be expandable, such as the other drop-down lists.
This would make it possible to read the full name of a cell.

Just bought Office 2003. When I open Excel I get an error message stating
"This file is not in a recognizable format". When I select OK, an Access file
opens in Read Only.

I would like to set up a personal.xls file that can be shared between two or
more people.  This would need to be in a common or shared directory that all
users would have access to execute, modify and add to.  The purpose is that
in our workgroup everyone backs up everyone else.

I have a problem with my excel.
When i activate "Caps Lock" Excel help appear. When i deactivate caps lock
Excel help hides. I push Caps Lock very very often and I become crazy!!

SKU112.cab does not exist in my new computer. All the other Office programs
installed and are operatiing except Excel keeps asking for sku112.cab.

I am grappling with a workbook that maintains clients with client  Id
numbers.  Each sheet has 2 to 3 states of client data on it, i.e.,  sheet 1 =
AK, AL, AR, AZ.
The client IDs are like AK0001 or AK0500.  

I have a new user taking over a new position and when she opens her excel and
types in a value with out any decimals.(ex; 111) and the following appears in
the cell: (1.11E-08). and then gives a value of 0.0000000111. Any suggestions
on how to reset to default book or template?

When I double click an excel file, the Excel application starts but without
loading the workbook I double clicked. Then I can open my file from the menu
or with drag'n'drop. Can somebody tell me what kind of weird option have I
checked?

How can I merge cells to create one page and have all the text wrap?  I have
merged all the cells on one page and created one merge.  As I type text some
of the text merges, and other text does not - all on the same page.  Why?  
How do I make all the text on each line wrap?

for example:
is it possible to theoretically split a sheet into two sections (top/bottom)
to have column A to be 2" wide in the top section
and 3" wide in the bottom section?

i wish to assign print properties to my entire workbook with out going
through each worksheet, is this possible? if so how?
