Is it possible to change settings on Excel 2003 so that the answer to
calculations are automatically rounded up or down, according to requirements.
An example of this would be 12.12 * 12.12 being rounded up to 146.90 or down
to 146.89, without using the roundup or round down ...

Is there a way to set up a cell with a specific date format such as
11/30/2007 in which all the person would havee to type is 11302007 and the

In excel I am trying to open multiple workbooks at once and see the tabs
appear on my screen for each workbook that is open.  I used to be able to do
this and use the alt+tab function to flip between the open books.  Now I am
only seeing one excel tab on my screen for all books ...

Thankfully and successfully I managed to format cells in Indian rupees like
12,34,567 and so on.
I saved the Blank book as mormal .xlt. But, when I click open the new file (
by clicking the new icon on the menubar) teh customised formats are not

When a enter a date in Excel 2003 it formats it (by default) as 22-Nov. The
short date regional setting in windows is 11/22/07.  When I go to change the
date format the format that is highlighted is Custom    dd-mmm.  Any idea
where this comes from and how I can change it.

Is there any limitation of how many pages you can print in a sheet?
I have a sheet with over 3000 rows, but I can only get the print rage to go

When I open Excel 2003, the task pane is across the top of the work area.
How do I move it to the side?

It tries to open up an installer to install Small Business Edition 2003
I cannot open any of my spreadsheets now.
