We recently installed Office 2007 under Windows Vista and are having problems
with the start up of Excel.  When we open Excel, we first get:
"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.
Gathering required information"

I used to have in previous office versions an XLstart folder uinder the
Office10 folder, containing Personal.xsl as well as two templates, sheet.xsl
& Book.xsl.
The templates apparently were moved with the 2007 installation to

the default size of the name box is too small to display a reasonably
descriptive name, seems that this should be configurable.

Does anyone have a fix for this one.  When I save files from Excel 2003 to
the associated folders, files are appearing, in addition to the ones I am
saving.  They have names such as "92733B00" and don't show to be associated
filenames.  They will also open as excel files and are ...

Since installing Office 2007, the collate box when I go to print doesn't stay
checked (like it always did in 2003).  Is there something wrong with the
program or is that the default.  If it is the new excel default, how do I
change it.  I am always printing many copies of a file ...

how would I set up a spreadsheet that uses names such debt, credit balance,
that will always be displayed at the top of the spreadsheet no matter what
row os shown?

I have Ofc 2003.  When I open a new Excel doc, any number I type in
automatically is divided by ten (for instance, if I type in 123 and hit
enter, it becomes 12.3).  I can not find a default formatting feature to

I am trying to save excel sheets as pdf with a macro that usies excel 2000-3
and acrobat 7.0 elements.
It all works fine if I do manual input of the filename in the print window.
But I don't know how can I pass to acrobat elements the file name through

I have a survey which is done in Excel using Macro, it can get input from
maximum 20 participants. How was the constraint put in place and how can I
release it?

I have a lot of hyperlinks in my excel sheet. I need those link, but I really
wish they wouldn't open the second I click on them. Is there anyway to disble
them temporarily or at least make it so I have to ctrl+click?
