Lately, I am unable to display, when entering edit mode in a cell, the
cell's formula-referenced cells. I used to, upon pressing F2, see a
cell's formula and, highlighted in differing colors, the cells

not work ?? I am trying to use a1((100)) and divide by  2 . anwser is 50

I am trying to tie a formula to a cell that contains a starting date.
However, when this "starting date" cell is empty, I want the
corresponding formula to read it as zero.  Because the "starting date"
cell is formatted as a date, the corresponding formula seems to still

So I have a spreadsheet with a bunch of cells that use a UDF.  Sometimes when
I open the spreadsheet, some of the cells that have this UDF show a #NAME
error.  Pressing F9 seems to clear these errors.
Is there some setting which forces UDFs to calculate automatically?
