In sorting specified columns by hiding unwanted columns, Excel sorts as requested but stops sorting about 20 lines before the end of the worksheet, leaving those 20 lines unsorted. How to get the entire worksheet sorted? Thanks.

When sorting columns by hiding unwanted columns, Excel sorts as I request but not the entire worksheet. It sorts the first 82 rows correctly but leaves the last 20 or so lines unsorted. How can I get it to sort the entire worsheet?

I am having problems getting a formula to work when I have a negative number in the first cell and I subtract the second cell (a positive). It adds the number instead of subtracting them. It also happens when I have two negative numbers that I am trying to subtract.

I have just re-installed office 2003 and my date input order is no mm/dd. In an existing spreadsheet I always used to type eg 8/6 for 8 June. Now it interprets it as 6 Aug. How can I set it to interpret input as 8 June My regional settings have dd/mm/yyyy for short date.
