I worked yesterday on a big Excel file (19 MB). Everything was fine.
This morning, I tried to open it but the file doesn't open.
I see "Opening ...", it seems to work but then the progress control freezes
...

I have three rows of data in Say Col A, Col B and Col C
Col A has values W,X,Y,Z
Col B has values 1,2,3,4 ... 50.
Col C has names of customers.

Column A has dates in it May 17 to August 15 in column J is how many days
until August 15th. In J3 I would like to have the number of days until August
15th from today’s date, tomorrow, tomorrows date and so on. Is there a
formula for Excel to do this automatically?

I have a spreadsheet where alternate rows have a fill colour to aid viewing
the correct lines. Although the colour shows fine in the spreadsheet itself
when I Print Preview, or Print the colour is gone and is replaced by a shade
of grey (i.e Light Green is a light grey, Green is ...

Can I use sumproduct in one spreadsheet, and reference or evaluate cells in
a completely different spreadsheet?

ok.  i want to take the willstaff test for microsoft excel and windows.  both
versions 2003. i know the basics for both.  there are so many training
sessions on here that i just dont have enough time to do them all.  anybody
know specifically which ones i should do?

I need to easily fill about 90 cells in a column with the formula below where
the number following (A increases by 1 in every cell down the column. How can
I do this?

I'm trying to keep absentee spreadsheet.  I was hoping to use the green
'check' and red 'x' but I'm unsure how to input the formula so when I mark
the girls Present (P) I get the checkmark or mark Absent (A) I get the x.

Hello. I have several cells with numbers, whose digits range from 10 to 13.
I want to show only the last 10 digits for every number. Not actually delete
the first few digits, but have them not show, by cell formatting probably. I
have played a bit with custom cell formatting but ...

I know we have been assured that one cannot move the tabs to the top,
but I saw a Business Case calculator written in Excel that had the
tabs at the top. So, is there anyone out there wo knows how to do
this?  I realize it is not a standard (supported) feature.

How do you freeze top row and 1st column in excel 2007 at the same time. The
current options seem to be either one or the other.

Is it possible to make a Starting  number in an excel workbook in column a-1,
& command it to make each subsequent cell below it have the next number

I wish to have the Bottom of the work sheet have less columns than the top,
is there a 'break' or 'section break' that I can use to separate the two
halves of the work sheet with different formating
