I have a list of dates, in ascending order.
I'd like to be able to alternate the cell colour according to month, i.e.
all Jan dates need to be blue, all Feb dates need to remain white, all March
dates need to be blue, all April dates need to remain white, and so on.

I have a database of 8000 records.  I have a second list of 728 job titles
which I have to extrapolate from the first list ie i only want the records
from the 8000 which match the job titles from the second list. What is the

I am looking for a formula to place in Data Validation / Custom so that an
amount cannot be placed in cell a2 unless a1 has a value in it and the value
in a2 must not exceed the value in cell a1.

I have a sheet that contains various functions which is updated
regularly.  The problem is, when updating, the formula never needs to
be changed, only the number.  I know it is possible to simply edit the

I know that I can apply conditional formating to a cell, but I require it to
be applied to a row, ie if a2 is equal to or less than a value then row a2
formatting has strike through applied to font an applied to all cells in that

Is it possible to have angled text and a straight border?  I'm trying to

breaking it down into chunks and re-saving it as smaller CSV files.

Excel 2003.  Cell A1 =Conditionally Derived Formula,   A1 is formatted Red
Pattern or remains Clear with a Value in it.
                 Cell A3 = I Need a C F Formula so that, 1. If I put a (1)
