I use data validation tool the basic way, LIST setting as validation
criteria and SOURCE range in the same worksheet. I do not use any static or
dynamic named ranges.
The problem is that no dropdown list is displaying anymore. I correctly have

Hello, I need to fill in all blank cells a large data range. My data is
randomley scattered accross several hundred thousand cells and needs to
remain in place. I need to have a text string as a place holder in all blank
cells before importing into quickbooks.
