I created a text box by going to view-tool bar-control box. Then I selected
Text box. So that I could insert a paragraph of about 391 characters (with
space). My text box is 510 wide and 85 high.
The paragraph simply went out of range. I can only read the first 10 words!

Any info to help me create a sodoku game in excel will be greatly

How do I open an Excel worksheet in a new window?

I have a spreadsheet that uses columns A - Z, in some of the cells up
to here, I have the word 'yes'.
I need to know how to calculate the number of 'yeses' in the cell to
come up with how many I have.

I'd like to disable the pop up feature that Excel (and Word, and probably all
Microsoft products) uses when looking for files under the File-Open commands.
For example, I click on the open file icon and get a list of files in a
folder.  As I'm scrolling down the list to look for ...

I'd like to move a column in between existing columns and possibly have the
results pasted as values.  I've been searching through the posting but haven't
found anything I could use.

I recently created a spreadsheet with well over 1,700 names in it.
Information that was later added to this document is linked to another
sheet. When I tried to do a search for these new names, however, I got
a message reading that they don't exist. Excel cannot find the data is

I have reviewed the messages related to shortcuts and can't find the following.
I am using Excel 2000.
I selected a cell, for example D3, extended the selection to the whole row,
using Shift-space and then deseleted column A, all with keyboard actions.

I use spreadsheets for long lists so they can be manipulated.  So as to keep
it "tidy" I use boders to separate the rows.  This looks fine in Print
Preview, however, when I print the spreadsheet, the hardcopy shows the
borders "moving" on me.  The cells are fine at the beginning ...

   Each month I have to send a worksheet to numerous employees via email. I
want to send as it appears in print format. Can anyone help me with this

when I attempt to pull these values out of a report generated by a telephony
application into excel - I then format the cells as "time" 37:30:55 - then I
