I have a file which I use regularly and which is linked to a file
named "2XDM May '07 Monitoring Summary". This file is updated
everymonth and renamed i.e. "2XDM June '07 Monitoring Summary". The
problem I am having with linking cells to this file is that once

I have first and last names in a column that I copied and pasted from the
internet.  I did some of my own data cleaning (remove hyperlinks, remove
titles, etc), and now I just want to separate into two columns.  For some
reason, Text to Columns (Delimited with Space) is not ...

Hi. Im seeking some help here.
Im trying to open via a Macro a new workbook, do some calcultations and then
save this new workbook with a specific name. Problem is that this name is
variable (It depends in this case of the Date brought from another workbook).

I have two workbooks. They both have one thing in common, a person's SS#. I
want to link the two so that the worksheet in the second workbook will bring
up the person's name, address, ect... along with the SS#. What do I do?

I am a Maths teacher and have a set of self marking excel worksheets that
have been completed by students.  What is the most efficient way of collating
their results?

Can I protect individual sheets without a password?  I'd like for
individuals to only be able to view the sheet that's pertinent to him/her.

How do I apply a password protection on a folder in Excel 2003? I know how to
apply these to worksheets, workbooks, etc... but not to a whole folder. Any
help would be appreicated.

Example:  I have a column of numbers I want to add E2:E20 with the total in
E21.  If there are no numbers in E2-E20, how can I make E21 to be blank
instead of showing a zero?

I have an excel spreadsheet which has on the left hand side in front of the
numbers an area with a + sign and when you click on this + sign it drops the
rows for example 4-8, and if I click on it again it hides them, how can I
create this?

Example, I have the formula e2+e3 in cell e4.  I have data in cell e3 but
nothing in cell e2.  I want e4 to be blank instead of putting in a zero.

Is there a function or a way to copy/paste/value a formula once the formula
has calculated a number?  I don't want to have to manually copy/paste/value.  
(I'm scraping info from the web, and i just want to grab the values and
paste it in a cell.)
