i used to have my excel show all ruler readings in inches but all of sudden
it has started showing it in centimeters!
someone suggested to get it done from winword > tools > options > general.
Tried that but it still does not change.

I AM NOT ABLE TO COPY AND PASTE BETWEEN CELLS IN EXCEL.FIRST OF ALL WHILE
COPYING THE SELECTED CELL IS HIGHLIGHTED FOR ONE SECOND THEN TURNED OFF.AND
YET WHILE PASTING I RECEIVE A "HELLO" MESSAGE.
PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY TELLS ME WHAT'S WRONG? TKS.

I have a spreadsheet that i use to fill out both text and numeric
information.  I have formatted the cells in the text collumns to Text but
every time i type in the letter i, it converts it to a capital.  Is there any
way of making it stop?  I work in excel 2000

I have a general question regarding macros / automation.
Basically I'm looking to automate a process that my colleagues perform
regularly so as to save some time. Obviously if this was an 'excel-only'
process I could use a macro.

I have 3 columns of data:  Manager, specialist indicator, sales growth
(columns A,B,C).  I want to put a bar graph together to show the sales growth
by manager and make the ones with the specialist indicator = "Y" a different

when i am moving my linked spreadsheet from its original location to
another,the location of the source data changes and it cannot be corrected
properly by "change source".Even if i break links the link refuses to go
away.Why?

When we print multiple copies of a excel worksheet say 5, we get instead of
one seperator page we get 5. Is there a way to get excel print it as one job,
it appears it is doing 5 sepearte jobs to print the 5 copies.
Any thoughts ?
