hyperlink, sort, chart, etc. are all faded.  Same in the pulldown menus.  The
worksheet is not protected nor is acess limited.  I created this spreadsheet.
It is very simple.  I've never seen this problem before.

I'm currently using an excel document, this spreadsheet has been
password prtected and the creater is no longer around.

I got a worksheet for each month of the year with a list of 300 names in
column "C" and 300 ages in column "D" from 18 year old to 99 year old.
I got a resut worksheet that will tell me how many 18,19,20...99 year old
were contact in January, February...December.

I have a data entry sheet with 25 columns of data. The data is both
text and numeric.  I have 5 reports on separate worksheets in the same
workbook. QUESTION: when I get 1000 or more lines of data, excel slows

i've  just installed a new wireless microsoft keyboard and in excel it won't
recongise me pushing f4 in the formula to change a cell reference to
absolute????
but outside of the formula it lets me push it and opens a new workbook.....

I suddenly find myself with an important file that is corrupted.
1)  Is there a way to recover it?
2)  Is there a way to back up the date of the computer to a time before the
