I would like excel to ignore email addresses, and stop launching my email program when I click on a cell containing an email address. I would like to apply this setting to everything I do in excel if possible, rather than applying it to each worksheet or cell.

I want to number my rows. My table is names, addresses, tel numbers, etc. I would not want the number to be tied to the row because I will be adding new rows from time to time and the number field would have to adjust accordingly. Is this possible in excel 2007. Thanks much.

Using XL 07, want to calculate median. have worksheet of census data by zipcode that makes displays data within 25 miles of inputted zipcode. these may range from 20 to nearly 60 zipcodes. one field is median hshld income.

The cell A has a catalog number in it with the order it belongs in the mix. What I need to do is seperate the catalog number from the order number is there a function or macro that will do this? Thanks in advance for the help. A B C
