Stop launching outlook when I click on an email address?21 Aug 2007 21:58 GMT4
I would like excel to ignore email addresses, and stop launching my email
program when I click on a cell containing an email address. I would like to
apply this setting to everything I do in excel if possible, rather than
applying it to each worksheet or cell.

I would like to set up a conditional format whereby if today's date
minus [date in referenced cell] was greater than a certain number, then
the fill colour of the cell would be changed.

simple email list of 4000 addresses (List A) and some are no good.
I've made a separate list (List B) of those bad email addresses and
want to delete all of them from the initial list (List A). Is there a

I want to number my rows. My table is names, addresses, tel numbers, etc. I
would not want the number to be tied to the row because I will be adding new
rows from time to time and the number field would have to adjust accordingly.

have worksheet of census data by zipcode that makes displays data within 25
miles of inputted zipcode.  these may range from 20 to nearly 60  zipcodes.  
one field is median hshld income.

I need to sort a column say "c" which contains numerical data. When i press
"a to z sort" button the numerical data is sorted as alphabetical data i.e
it  ignores positive and negative signs and after 10, the value 100 comes
and 20 then -20 then 200 like this. How to sort this data ...

I am using multiple Vlookups in one sheet. There is a vlookup in each column
which retrieves data from multiple file locations. So for example, column B
looks at column A, and then goes to File 1 to look for matching data. Column
C then looks at column A, and then goes to File 7 ...

I have a column of free text cells that describe an action that was taken.  I
would like to identify any cells that contain the word "shipped".  (Shipped
will never be the only word in the cell, it is always part of a string of
text.)

me to hit f9 or click on the word calculate in the bottom left hand quarter.  
HOw can I set it back to automaically recalculate?

I have a column of numbers, and would like to find the "largest number".
However I need it to be less than 130. something like =LARGE(C1:C20,(1<130)),
I've tried several different things, but nothing really works.

The cell A has a catalog number in it with the order it belongs in the mix.  
What I need to do is seperate the catalog number from the order number is
there a function or macro that will do this?  Thanks in advance for the help.
