Can Excel perform multiple selections from a drop down list? I know in HTML you can hold down a key and select multiple items. Also, if it is the case that Excel can do this, how would the relative values be stored in a cell? Thanks

Weird zoom/view issue. We open any existing Excel file on one computer. Sheet1 is at 75% zoom/view. Sheet2 is at 100% zoom/view.

Is it possible to "lock" cell border lines so that they are not erased or modified when (for example) a pattern is cleared from the cell? I'd like to set up a page with border lines, then lock the border lines so that they are not effected by modifications to the cell - possible?

Is there a way to count a cell if it has color shading? I have no values in my cells, but they are either shaded a color or not. I only want to count the cells that have color shading in the range I select. Is this possible? I would rather not enter values or text in the cells

My "standard" font color pallet changed to pastel colors. I will go to a page that I have worked on before and it's different. How do I fix this problem? It happens intermittently. It doesn't happen through out Excel 2003. I'm baffeled
