I quite often set up workbooks in 07 for use in older versions of excel. But
when the older version is opened it opens as 4 separate workbooks. Each are
the same. You can save changes in that version and when it is opened again it
is still 4 books. Is there away to convert 07 to ...

Using, when I right-click on the tabs and select Insert Chart, I get a
blank chart.  But just now -- and for several attempts -- Insert Chart
is creating a chart that uses several columns of data in the current
worksheet, even though they are not selected.

i loose the zero infront of phone numbers how do i get it back

I need to fix the alpha column size so that whenever i copy an excel file as
TXT file, i should get the column value suffixed with spaces(if the value is
not upto column size).

My Row headings in excel have changed from letters to numbers - making the
formulas complicated to look at, to say the least.
How do I change it back?
Even new blank worksheets have the numbers on instead of the letters.

the problem is, as you can probably see, the data is not very clean..

I am having trouble in a simple task - copying a formula from one cell to
another.
Example:
Cell A1 has value 4, Cell B1 has value 5, I set C1 = A1+B1 and excel calcs

I'm importing a text file with a lot of numbers in the format of XXXXX and
want to format them as XXX.XX without having to divide all the numbers by 100
and then place in a separate column.  Is there a way to create a custom
format that will do this for me?
