I have a list of names (one column of first names, and one
column of last names).  I want to get the initials for the person.
For example:

I have 1 worksheet in which we would like to have pages 1-14 and then start
page 15 with a different footer.  I don't see anyway in Excel to have more
than 1 footer in an worksheet.

I would like to use values of "A, B, C, D.." (grades) instead of numeric
values in a graphic visualisation of a score in different moments in time
(semesters). Can anyone give me a hint or some instructions on how to do this?

When I open an EXCEL file I want it create a backup copy that's not the same
as the automatic recovery copy.  I have some old EXCEL files that do this but
don't know how it was done.

When I try to import a set of dates from Internet explorer, the date format
changes to US date format those dates are =<12. If I try to convert those
date format the dd/mm/yyyy shuffles to mm/dd/yyyy.
Ex:

protected. Everytime I update links I have to put in the password for each
workbook.  Is there anyway I can get round having to type in the password for

I have the date and time in a cell "9/20/2007  6:49:53 PM". Now, I want the
date and time to be displayed seperately in different cells. Eg:-
B2=9/20/2007(Date only-No Time)

I have a row with numbers A1-1, B1-2, C1-3, D1-4 and in A2-3.
Is it possible to multiply all numbers in row with A2 number automatically
or some formula?
