Search for 6 Character value30 Nov 2007 23:31 GMT2
Hi, I am trying to design a macro that will search for values in a column
that are 6 characters long.  Data is text that looks like numbers (downloaded
from a mainframe).  I tried using a search with 6 *'s but it just returned
everything.
Finding the longest contiguous 1-d array of 0's30 Nov 2007 23:25 GMT2
Ok, I can't think of any remotely-easy way to do this.  My data exists as
such:  accounts listed in the rows, dates (by month) listed in the columns;
in the fields corresponding to each account/dates is the quantity of items
the account purchased in that month.
Excel 2007, Conditional Formatting, Format Painter30 Nov 2007 23:19 GMT3
Hi!  I had a question using the format painter in the new Excel 2007 for
conditional formatting.  In my "old" version of Excel, if I had a conditional
format in cell F5, I could format paint that conditional formatting from F6
through F200, and the relative reference that I used ...

99362, and 99363.
Drop Down Menu Conditional Formatting30 Nov 2007 22:37 GMT4
I've created a drop down menu for cell I4 that allows users to choose A, B, C

Grapes.  If they choose B, I want their choices to be ...

I am sure this is easier than I am making it out but how do I subtract a date
in cell F11 from todays date? We want to actually calculate the number of
months in between the dates.
Thank you

workbook was created in before opening the workbook? We tried right-clicking

environment.

Question regarding functions30 Nov 2007 21:29 GMT1
Hello.  I have a (hopefully) basic question on how to create a specific
