I have a range in a worksheet which I named "Prices" using the "Name
Box" (The box that shows the Cell reference [A1 etc...])

Is there any way in Excel to reformat data so that data which is listed in
columnar format can be copied into rows. For instance if the data is listed
from cells a1:a4 and I want to reinput this data into cells a1, b1, c1 and d1.

I am setting up a 'report' of sorts in Excel (97), and I cannot
remember or find how to calculate the range when I have to add a
variable number of columns. I dont actually want to make a named
range, simply refer to a range in VBA.

When I use Ctrl-F to quickly find an item in a spreadsheet, how do I setup to
make the found item hightlighted instantly instead just normal border around
the found item.  The hightlight is very helpful when look at a crowed spread

I'm sure this is a very silly question, but I sometimes have a problem
pasting non adjaent cells.  I select the cells using the CTRL click then
copy, which always works fine, but sometimes when I try and paste the cells
elsewhere I get an error message saying I can't paste non ...

I have an Excel spreadsheet with currency.
If the value is $4.50 for example, it shows in the formula bar as 4.5 and
merges into Word this way.  I have set my options to precision as displayed.

Is there a way to eliminate the colums on a spreadsheet that you do not need.
I have employees use spreadsheet in our office who are not Excel users and
end up entering data in colums not used in the spreadsheet. If I use column

Hi, me again with another question....how can I add the entire row of my
numbers together- for example adding cell E2 thru to cell E25 (so, cell E2
plus E3 plus E$ and so on and so forth) to get a running total at the end of
each page?
