I have a real dates in column A from 01-Jan-2007 till 31-Dec-2007
and in B column I have Sales figures for each date
I need formula to give me total sales figures for June only or July only

Since understanding and using the sumproduct() function I use it extensively
in the design of some rather sophisticated spreadsheets.  With several sheets
(in the WB) I utilize the Auto-Filter on the 4,000 to 5000 rows of data -
with amaybe 3 or 5 columns of the sumproduct() ...

Excel 2003:
1. Create 3 column headers a1, a2 and a3
2. Populate column a1 and a2 only, updating say 30 rows
3. Export as a Tab delimiter file.

the option on the right click to add a hyperlink is greyed out, I cannot add
