I need a formula that will count based on 2 criteria. For example: if one
column has words with only "hello" and "bye".. while another column says
"morning" and goodnight".

I have recently moved to Excel 2007.  When I have a formula in an
existing spreadsheet, Excel 2007 recalculates my formula to what it
thinks the value should be.
For example my formula is Sum (B16:J16)  - Excel will change this to

I need to find the median 3 values in a range, which will be added together.
I will have either 3, 5, or 7 values in the range. If I have 3 values, I just
need to add them; with 5 values, I need to throw out the high and low values;
and with 7 values, I need to throw out the 2 ...

Excel keeps taking any digit over 11 and displays them as zero's,  Is there
anyway to prevent this? I have tried custom formats to no avail.

I would like the end result to include Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
In one cell I have the first date: 7/19/2006  2:54:51 PM
In a second cell I have the end date: 10/5/2006  2:12:06 PM
I'm trying to calculate the difference but I don't want Months, Months

I am new to excel and I want to create a formula to keep a running win
percentage% for my sons basketball team. I would like to enter the game in
column A and then the result in column B (win or loss) and have colum C keep
a running winning %. Can someone sugest a formula?  ...

I am trying to automatically insert the file created on date in a cell. Is
there a formula to do this?

I am using the formula =COUNTIF('Sheet 2'!$L$3:$L$325,AP8) to count the
number of times cell AP8 appears in the range. Cell AP8 contains text. It was
working just fine until I had to add a few sentences to cell AP8. Now I get
an error in the counting column.

I have prices listed in my exacel data sheet as follows: 1.20, 1.14, 1.30,
1.10, ect.
all of the numbers that end in a zero (1.20, 1.30, 1.10) only display a
value of 1.1 or 1.2 oe 1.3. The data shows up in excel as 1.10 and 1.20, but

i need to split a long table into shorter ones so that i can print on one
sheet and the table to remain linked.
am using 2003 excel and only way have found so far is to copy and paste
picture link but this is long winded and a pain to line up profesionaly.

I was keeping track of my credit card numbers with a spreadsheet.  And when
I enter a cc numer such as a visa card the last digit gets rounded to a "0"  
No matter what I tried this happened.  But it doesn't happen in Excel 2003!
I checked to be sure I was using a correct format ...

I am using excell 2003 and I am trying to sort my sales for the year by
column.  I can sort fine however the formulas aren't moving with my sort so
some of my numbers are off.
Example:

I have a list of numbers in Column A, Cells 1 through 1607.  I need to delete
the duplicate cells.  How can I do this?  I have read previous posts
regarding this but I do not understand.  I am a beginner at Excel.  Thanks!!
