Does anyone know exactly how/when Solver uses the parameter constraints? When I ask Solver to find the value of x for which f(x)=0 subject to the constraints that x>=L and x<=U, I always assumed that Solver would never try to evaluate f(x) at values of x outside of the interval ...

Hi. I have a huge spreadsheet (~20,000 rows). I need to average every 48 rows into one value. Is there a quick and easy way to do this without scrolling through all 20,000 rows and copy-pasting the "average" function every 48th row?

Thats the question, I have a pivot that I want to count the total number of unblank fields, there are about 10, but it takes the sum and shows like 300 in grand total. I need the grand total to say 10. Is this possible? I need this because of data replication.
