Excel does not appear to have a sort function.:-(
I can use the Sort option from the Data menu, but this has two major

I have a spreadsheet with several different years of data in one row (last

I can create a table to subtotal by different criteria, but I'd like to add
a subtotal based on the text in another row.

The problem : the user generates an input list (col A numbered by row 1,2,3
