I am trying to lookup 'cell' C12 and dependant on what is in C12 give me a grading of 1 - 6 from another table and place the answer in 'cell' P12. Lookup data is in 3 equal columns and return value data is in 1 column of the same length on the same worksheet.

In 2007 Excel, where ever I select a single cell, a box appears highlighting at least three adjacent cells. Sometimes below, sometimes to one side. This is distracting and aggravating and I want to see only the cell selected... Tried hitting F8, but that doesn't work.

The filter total at the bottom left has dissapeared. How can I get it back? It worked before, when I filtered a row it would show: "10 of 123 records found". Now it doesn't.
