I want to create a data validation list which allows the user to select

interest, let's say for buying a house, car...

For the life of me, I cannot remember how to get a shortcut to a document
(not a file) on my desktop.

I have a column with date field in mm/dd/yy format (about 1000 rows).
I would like to duplicate the date field in another column, but convert to
Year/Month (yy/mm). For example: The new column will delete/ignor the dd
format.
