i have a large worksheet with over 500 rows and 50 columns that needs to  be
sent out to a large audience.  how can I allow the worksheet to be sorted
while it is protected?  i have tried protecting only certain columns of data
and tried to sort, but it only allows me to sort ...

I am copying dates from a website formatted in MMM-DD (e.g. Sep-12).
However, when I copy the dates into excel, it reads it as DD-MM (e.g. Sep-12
is copied as Dec-09).  If I copy dates which cannot be transposed (such as
Oct-16) then it copies correctly as Oct-16.

When I hit the ? key in a cell in excel or a "/" character, the character " É
" is displayed.  I only have English (US) selected as my office language.  
How do I fix this?
