i have 5 yrs of revenue data.  however, 2 of those yrs had significant spikes
because of unusual circumstances.  i would like to hihlight this fact - i.e
say that the total revenue for a spike year was $2M, but that $900K was due
to extraordinary circumstances.  also i am showing ...

Formula now is =B3/E3/F3*G3 I need the results to round up in increments of
3. Example if results are even, 3,6,9,12 etc... thats fine but if it's
something like 3.9 I need it to round up to 6, 7.1 up to 9 etc... Thanks in

I am trying to limit user input to a range of cells to one of 15 single
letters or blank only.  I can get the data validation tool to limit to a
single text character, but i can not seem to get it to limit it to the 15
"approved" text letters.  Can any one give me any ideas ...

What am I doing wrong? Column A I've got =countif(a:a,2)=1 because I don't
want duplicate numbers entered. No matter what is entered even numbers that
aren't duplicates, I still get my warning message and won't allow me to enter

When I select non-adjacent cells, the highlighted boxes disappear on me and I
cannot see which cells are selected. How can I fix this?

In Excel 2007 when I select a range of cells, rows or columns the area
darkens slightly so you can see what you are selecting...is there a way to
make this highlighting darker without having to actually color the cells.

For some reason I cannot fill color in cells and cannot change the color of
fonts in cells.  I can change borders around cells or groups of cells, but no
cells can be filled with color and I cannot change font color in any cells.
