how do I make cells in an excel template 3D FYI, this template is linked
to a database or better yet how do I have a database recongnize an

I remember that it is possible to change the colors in some icons. For
example, I had a former boss that recommended that I change the 'delete cells
icon' to have red cells within the icon so that I could quickly click the
button without thinking 'is this the delete or insert ...

My column headings started to appear as numbers, not letters.  Why is this
happening and how may I fix it?

Is there a way to format number to show say 1,00,000 instead of 100,000. This
is to reflect Indian 100,000, which is called one lac. I am using Excel 2000.

When I get the sum of 10 cells it comes up 2 cents short of what it should be
when checked on the calculator. Is this a bug?

I have a spreadsheet text in column A with repeating names and I need to
display the data found in column B on another "page 2" in Excel.  The problem
I'm having is that "page 2" needs to display the information for that person
only with no other data.  Here is an example.

I often perform a search in Excel over multiple sheets in the same workbook.  
I also often move rows within one sheet.  When multiple sheets are selected
and you cut / copy / paste on the sheet you have selected, it will perform
the same action on all of the sheets selected.

I must admit.  I am horrible at logical functions.  I am trying to compose a
formula that will return a value of "1" if number is greater than 1, less
than 4, greater than 949, and less than 991.  Here is what I have now but it
is not working: =IF(AND(G7>0,G7<4,G7>949,G7<991),1 ...

when i key in a cell with a number i want that to be divided by 40

Is CAST used in MS Access 2003?  If not, what is used in its place.
