For years I have opened text files in Excel using the right-click
"Open With..." in Windows. The files opened without triggering the
Import Text Wizard and were imported in one column. As of yesterday
(without any apparent changes to Excel or Windows), this behavior

Before SP3 we renamed a text file to filename.xls and then executed
it  (done by an automatic process) which made excel open it up  with
all contents in the first column. It was then up to the user to do a
text to columns either by fixed size or delimited as they wanted.

I consistently have trouble with Excel's print feature.  This is the most
recent example.
I'm working on a spreadsheet with many columns so I have set page breaks
from left to right.  At the time I did this, one page from top to bottom was

Column c may or may not have a date in each cell.
Column d may or may not have a date in each cell.
They will not have a date in corresponding cells at the same time.
If column c has a date then add 90 to that to equal column e

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to type text in combined cell?
For example, when I join A1 and A2 cells together, and enter a formula

I have Excel 2007 and when I click on a file to open, it opens with just the
toolbar above but you cannot see any of the data.  When I minimize it, it
minimizes and then pops right back up with the data visible now.  Any ideas
how to fix that?

I'm working wiht Excel 2003 and trying to set up a form. I will allow
entries to be selected from a list - so far no problem. Is it possible to
format the entries in advance, i.e. that for example, if you selcet "name"
from the list, it will appear in red?
