Mike H. just gave me a very nice introduction to modules (see around 15 threads below this one: "Remove any letter from a referenced cell") and actually showed me that regex could be used with Excel. Now I'm craving to get it working even more efficiently:

G12 has a dropdown menu in it, Y for YES, N for NO. I12 is where the answers will go. So if I pick N from the dropdown box in G12 , I need it to show a answer of 0 in I12. If I choose Y in cell G12 , I need it to use this formula

I'm trying to filter a column named "Maturity Date" as follows: The filter would be for items less than a date which would be in a cell in another spreadsheet or at least in a cell outside of the filter range. I would greatly appreciate any help with this.
