I am creating an expense worksheet for sales reps. Beginning and ending mileage for company cars are entered each week. Is there a way that Excel can "flag" me once a vehicle reaches a certain mileage, i.e. 40,000 miles ???

Let me begin by saying I'm not a programmer (any more), I'm a Spanish interpreter at a Court. I have done all of the following using the "macro record" and "customize toolbar" features from the Excel menus - I do not do any VB programming.

I have software that creates a data dump of a bunch of information; pivot tables work great for helping us sort information. Our customer has seen and now requested similar reports. The pop down feature makes it nice to isolate a particular group or all of them.

I am created a file to keep track of marks. I want every other line to have the back ground fill in. Sometimes students names will be added or deleted. I don't want to have to change the format for each line when a student is added or deleted. Is there a way to do this?
