I have a friend who accidentally sort only one column in an excel spreadsheet and so now all of the info is incorrect. Is there a way to go back to an earlier version of the worksheet that was correct? Thanks for your help in answering this question.

I'm on Vista Home Premium, Office 2007. I can open Excel without a file normally. When I open a file - three minutes. When Excel is closed and I double click an existing xls - three minutes. If a xls is open and I open a second xls - another three minutes.

When I sort dates, they are sorting in order. The format is a date format 03/01/05. When I choose assending order, they start out ok, but then get mixed up: 3/01/05 - 03/06/05, 03/02/05, and even the end 05/01/04,any idea?

When i use my autofilter it does not show all the data in the columns. I have tried removing the filter and applying it again but it still does not work. I have about 4000 rows, does this matter?
