i entered the following formula in cell  k7 :
=CHOOSE(MATCH("X",F7:F7:F7,0),5)
which means :f there is the letter X in cell F7, then give me the answer 5.

should be an easy one.
In cell A16 I have the number 27
In cell U15 I have 23,35,4,16 (written just like this).

In Excel Wkbk A, I have several sumif formulas pulling from Excel Wkbk
B.  For some reason, the formula results in an error whenever the
referenced Wkbk B is not open.  Once opened, the error is resolved.
Any suggestions to have Wkbk B closed without the error values?
