My boss had me merge together a ton of data.  
       Group Name, Renewal Month, Broker Name, Broker Phone, Address,
Address 2, City, State, County, Zip, Employer Phone, Employer Key Contact,
EE's, SIC Code, Current Carrier, EE Rate, EE Rate2, Benefit Design, Status,

Does anyone know of a way to mass delete rows from an excel spreadsheet?  
I've got 5,000 rows I need to delete and don't want to have to click and
drag.  Is there a way to mass select?

A couple years ago I remember being able to tweak the UI (I don't
think I used TweakUI, but maybe) to let me right click on a
spreadsheet and choose to open it as read only.  This is as opposed to
explicitly saving a file as read only or read only recommended.

Excel has a splendid way of copying your cell if it is repeat information. Is
there any way I can adjust this feature to recognise a number and it will

Is there a way in Excel to change a calculated field to an actual number?  
For example changing =B2 (10)+C2 (12)  to actually be 32?  I want to use this
field in a seperate system, can it will not copy since it is a calcuated

I used Ron deBruin information to had a drop down calendar to a worksheet
(actually multiple). Worked fine at first but I must have changed something.
First, the calendar date "default" is one day in advance. In other words

Some of the Excel worksheets that are saved show up as an xlr file and the
result is that Excel will not  open the file.  can someone explain why?  What
