Advanced, but I could swear I have seen somewhere a shortcut key combination
to do this much more quickly.  I've scoured local help and come up short.

Is it possible to obtain just the year in B1 out of a whole date in A1 ?
I need to use the date in A1, in order to get a year, just THAT year in B1, in
order to get a result in C1.
It is complicated but the whole date in A1 I use it for 2 other purposes.

I have two workbooks; I want to look up the value in column 2 in one workbook

I have an Excel 2003 worksheet with some content.
One column - or more prceisely a couple of cells) should be displayed but not printed (on paper).
How can I achieve this?

I write a macro,  there will some data copy from a sheet1 to another sheet2,
and then , the sheet1 will be closed. while the macro is running, there is a
message to ask me some data in clipboard, will I use it. I will choose "NO"
manually everytime when the macro running.

I want to create a macro that will allow me to use a shortcut that will:
(1) copy the values & the format (i.e. not the formulas) of the active
worksheet to a new workbook; and
(2) save that new workbook as "Claim" in a specified file location.
