I have a file about 3Mb in the "wonderful" Vs7 format. ie with the XLSM extension. It takes about 1 minute to open up, and then is quite sluggish and prone to breakdown. I saved it as an XLS file, and remarkably, it saved it with a few Kbs less,

In cell A2, there is char 2328050010001023841. I am not sure whether the char is text or number, does anyone have any suggestions on how to force it into number? I have tried following code, but it misses the last 4 digits.
