Hello.  I'm using Excel 2003.
I'd like to total the subtotals that Excel calc'd for me using the subtotals
function.  I realize that Excel places a grand total at the bottom of the

summary page to keep track of totals from different workbooks.  However, once
it goes into the summary sheet, the formatting is gone.  I can't figure out

I have a worksheet containing a table consisting of a stub (1st column) and 5
columns contain figures. I would like to create 5 separate tables with the
stub being constant for each table such as:
A B C D E F = original

We just upgraded to Excel 2007 and Vista on some of our machines at work.
On some sheets when we select one cell multiple cells are selected.  This
does not happen every time, but enough to be annoying.  Hoe do we fix this?

Is it possible to divide a cell into more than one cell without adding rows
or columns to the worksheet?  I need to be able to apply borders to the new

I have a data set from a Pivot table, and I want to delete every row with a
blank underneath Total. This turns out to be every 4th row. Is there a way to
automatically delete every 4th row in excel?

In column B there are letters "A,AC,P,PB,S".
In column U there are numbers.
need formula that searches column B for the letters "A" and "AC" then goes
to column U and averages those numbers that meet the criteria.

I work with VERY LARGE files, some will not work as attachments on email. I
would like to find ways to reduce my files size.......I "seem to remember" 1
step was to his "CTRL+END" to find the last cell "Excel thinks is the
last"......but is not and my job is to reset this cell ...

When I make weekend days working days, I can not make the working times
mimic the week day times of 8 to 12 and 1 to 5.
For Saturday and Sunday, the system will only take 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
