Excel 2002 SP3, Windows XP
The user has a couple dozen Excel files residing on his desktop.  If he
double clicks on any of them from the desktop, they open with a gray screen.  
The Window menu is deactivated except for Hide.  I hide then unhide but still

Is there a way to bold a nested function? I.E. I have the fuction like below:

I want to create a workbook with, say, 52 worksheets, one for each week. I
would like the days of the week, in date format across the top of each work
sheet, but I want the first sheet to be 1/1/08,2/1/08 etc, with the second

I'm having a problem while using excel 2002.
I have an estimated amount of 3500 cells containing text.
I also have 450 words and for all of them I have abbreviations.
What is the easiest way for me to manipulate those 3500

For some reason, sometimes Excel takes a 1 page document and turns it into a
200+ page document.  These are documents previously created.  I open it, hit
print (or print preview) and Excel prints of previews hundreds of pages for a
single page document.  Each page is usually 1-4 ...

I apologize for this stupid question, but a long time ago I created a macro
button to which I can assign macros for execution.  Whenever I need a new
one, I copy the old one.  But I'm trying to tell someone else how to create
it - and I forgot.  I tried to use the control toolbox ...

Is there any way to make EXCEL 2007 show menus comparable to those in EXCEL

I'm trying to add a secondary axis in Excel 2007 and am following the help
steps.  Only when I get to the part about clicking on "Secondary Axis" under
"Plot Series On" in the "Format Data Series" window, there is no "Plot Series
On" area.  Why is help telling me to do something ...

One I have types into a call and selected word wrap, the spacing between the

In "A1" i've got dropdown list witch is reading items from range
"M1:M3000"
I got also some data in range "N1:N3000"

In Word, you have the option to print multiple pages per sheet.  In Excel,
this option is not on the print dialog.  However, if you go to print
properties, layout, the option is there.

I have many names inherited from copying worksheet from external files, the
file now contains hundreds of names that is giving me some problems. Apart
from deleting one at a time using 'Insert'-'Name'-'Define', wonder anybody
know how I can delete all the names completely.
