Is it possible for Excel to transfer data from one workbook to specific cells
in another workbook. I am using Office Home and Student 2007, do I need any
extra software?

Every now and then I get this message:
‘Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result the page mat not display properly”
How can I fix this?.

I have a large worksheet with contact details and booking areas (Booking 1,
Booking 2 etc.):
                                             Booking 1                      
   Booking 2

Specifically, I want to replace straight quotes with smart quotes.

After filtering a list, how do I save only the filtered result "as it is
shown" on
the same worksheet and discard the rest?  Please help...thanks.

I have a range of cells (A1:H100) containing a mixture of entries:-
a) cells containing formulae eg: =23-4+6 (plus and minus only - no multiply
or divide)
b) cells containing single positive amounts eg 705 (ie no sign)

This is a strange one. If I double click on a saved Excel 2003 workbook
(saved on my desktop), it takes ages to open and then will hang. If I open
Excel then select the workbook, it loads immediately.
Has anyone any ideas on this one?

I have a user who has Excel 2003 SP3 and her "Send To" is missing from her
File Menu.  I attempted to Add the "Send (as Attachment)" to her File Menu
and it is disabled.  We are a Lotus Notes house and Lotus is her default mail

Can I change the font of the display in a drop down box?

When messing around with my table options recently, I inadvertently
eliminated the default pivot table formatting recently and can't retrieve it.
I've tried using the format report option and selecting "Pivot Table Classic"
(which is not the classic format BTW). No dice. I tried ...

office 2007 has worked for 2 wks and mysteriously today, it won't open excel
attachments in emails I receive.  I get an error msge that says it can't find
the file.

I have two workbooks open in Excel 2003.  From WorkbookA I need to get the
currrent row number, add 1 to it and copy the contents from WorkbookA to
WorkbookB.  Presently I have the following code that works...
   Dim CurrentRow as Integer

I know I can show the tab name in the footer on a document when I print it,
but is there anyway of showing what the tab name is within the worksheet
itself on the screen?
