I want to create one file of sensitive data that I can send to multiple people. Each recipient would enter their employee number and password to access the data. If someone has done something like this in Excel, please let me know how it was accomplished.

JE McGimpsey mentioned this keyboard shortcut in a post back in June 2008. It appears to change all cells in a spreadsheet from dates to date serial numbers and vice versa. But I can't find any mention of the shortcut in Excel 2003 Help. Can someone tell me where it is in Help ...

Back in June, I asked (under the heading "CELL FORMATTING WILL NOT WOK") how to resolve a problem I was having applying date formats in Excel 2000. A lot of people offered help, and I spent many hours applying the various solutions offered, all to no avail.

Is it possible to remove conditional formatting setting vai a macro. I use a macro to copy a range (visible rows only) to a new sheet, the cond.formatting gets messed up because the row numbers change. The macro recorder doesn't record the cond.format part.
