One of our users sends email's out and the recipient
receives the email itself as an attachment. Also, any  
attachments she sends (.doc, .pdf, .xls) are converted
to .dat files for some reason.

With the limits that employees place on exchange mailboxes and the pressure
to keep mailboxes to a minimum it would be great if there was an option in
Outlook to detach the attachment and store it in a single (compressed) folder
or database.  Once detached, Outlook should then ...

We just installed Microsoft Outlook 2003. Upgrade from Lotus notes.
When I right click on a file and select send to/mail recipient Lotus notes
opens
instead of Outlook.

I am getting the following message when I open my Outlook Express.  On MS
Support it only gives me a solution to this problem for Outlook Express 5.0.

I need to track email messages that I send to my manager
for a signature and then he needs to send to another
person for a signature. He does not always copy me back,
how can I know that he sent the message to the other

I had to upgrade a brand new laptop (brand new as in I took
it out the box) from XP Home to XP Pro, I then installed XP
SP2, then checked and installed for latest updates. I then
loaded Office 2000 Std and all its updates.

Every time I click on an attachment to open it in Outlook Express, it opens
it in Word Pad.  How can I make it open it in Microsoft Word?  I am using
Windows XP home and Outlook Express 6.0.

If I already have an inbox full of messages and have changed my junk mail
filters, how do I reapply junk-filtering to the inbox?

I hasve a data solurce that was created in microsoft word 98 and i want to  
take that contact information and add it to my outlook with retyping it can

In the default inbox folder, my user flags a email for follow up with date
and time.  when that time comes, no reminder pops up.  This problem is
machine independant, it occurs for her email account every machine I tried it

I saw that a post was made in October as a suggestion to Microsoft that the
email spell checker should also check the subject line.  Does anyone know if
that has been addressed or when it might be.

For instance, I send out an email with an address included, but forget
to put the zipcode.  Instead of retyping the whole email, or copying

People I have sent to and/or replied to are not appearing in my recipients
