I copied the .pst folder 4.09 gb from one location to another. Then I deleted the original folder. I tried to open with outlook via mapped drive wasnt able to do so It said is not a personnal folder. I then do a scanpst, doesnt worked either.

Whenever Outlook (2003, SP1) tries to update the address book, it crashes. It is happening all the time. I haven't done anything in last few days. How can I fix it? Thanks.

I've had to re install windows which means the registry has been wiped. However iv been able to gain access to all the other previous information that was on the HDD. Ive searched high and low through my users Application data for previous emails I had when using Oulook 2003. ...

I just added Outlook Connect so I could download my Hotmail messages directly into Outlook. Everything seemed to work okay until I set up my Hotmail Account. Has anyone experienced this problem?

I would like to avoid moving emails to a particular folder to be sure the reply I send is in the same folder. Is there an add on that I can put on Outlook 2003 that will ask for the folder to put the reply in to?

The error message is "The file C:\DocumentsandSettings\name\LocalSettings\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Outlook.pst is in use and could not be accessed. Close any application that is using this file, and try again. There are no other files open but the message pops up

I have an AMD Athlon 64 3500 processor and 1GB ram with SATA hard drives yet Outlook 2007 seems to take minutes to grind into action and is really slow at doing anything eg sending a message leaves it not responding for ages. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution - ...

i can't seem to get any pictures to view in any emails i get. if i open them in a browser the pictures come up but not in outlook. i have tied changing items in the trusted area but have not had any luck. Anyone have a fix for this?

When starting to enter an e-mail address, Outlook offers a list of previous similar addresses to choose from. Some of these are so old that I wish to delete them. I can't find where they are stored, has anyone discovered the hiding place??

Whenever I try to look at Outlook Today, I briefly see the info on that page. the it disappears! I just replace my hard drive. All the data was copied from the old drive by Western Digital's Data Lifeguard software.

When I send out a task request that is accepted, it never updates the task in my task list. The user that it is assigned to shows it as he accepted it, but my task never reflects the update. We are both running pre-sp2 OL2003.
