What is the best a safest way to regulary back up Outloot 2002

When I send email I like to have the  person's name displayed in the To:
field, not just the email address.   For example, if the email address is

I run OL 2000 SR1...
A moment ago, using drag & drop, I accidentally "dropped" a
message onto "Desktop" in the folder tree.

Since I've had OL2000 (running WinXP), I have been unable to print address
labels, and had to address all our envelopes by hand (the horror!).
I am appealing for your help this year.

I had a corrupt file.
I fixed it using the scanpst
now i have under a "lost folders" tab, my contacts, calendar, tasks, and
notes labeled as "recovered folder" and some odd number

as per the website howto-outlook.com i created a new pst-file from
tools>email accounts.  it did not work to delete the email and now everytime
outlook starts it looks for the newly created file which has been deleted.
