I have a data file that is listed under "all mail folders" but not in Outlook
Data Files.  When I right click on it, properties & rename are grayed out.
clicking on it gets the error message "the set of folders could not be
opened." I tried reinstalling outlook, and ran scanpst ...

How do I highlight selected text in email in Outlook Express 6?  It doesn't
have the pencil icon for editing as in Word.  I don't mean changing the font
color or entire background, and I don't mean going from a Word document to
email.

When I want to clean up an email w/ messy formatting, I use the
'Style' pull-down menu to select "Normal".
The problem is that it only works if I apply a different (not Normal)
style first, then apply Normal.

when I try to open a file with a .pps extension, windows media player opens
and says pps file not recognized by windows media player. How do I fix
this??? Thanks

Can anyone help, recently upgraded outlook 2003 to 2007 through office pro &
it keeps crashing. If I try to access the contacts folders, it just hangs,
Also every time I try to shut down the program it crashes then if I restart
it, it loads up & when ittries to retrieve emails it ...

Suddenly, Outlook began opening in four windows instead of one.  If I close
one, they all close.  Some will update new messages; others won't.

I recently installed Outlook 2003.  Unlike many of the questions here, I can
receive web site links.  But when I send a link, it comes accross to the
recipiant as normal text.  This happens if I type in a link like
www.amazon.com, or if I cut and paste an address from Explorer, ...

Need to put my back up info (i.e. calendar info, sent/received emails etc.)
back into Outlook.  Could someone give me an easy way to do this please?!

I can't open .pps files that are e-mailed to me

I have indadvertantly changed the way the information is displayed in the
inbox.  I just want to go back to the way messages are normally displayed
with the list of incoming messages in the top pane and the contents in the
bottom pain. The version is 9.0.0.2711

i installed the live messenger
and suddenly can no longer query
my old hotmail and msn account
from o.e.

I ahve recently installed Office 2000 on a new laptop running Vista. I have a
couple of problems ;-
1. I can't get it to register Outlook as default e-mail handler
2. I can recieve e-mails but cannot reply or send. A message comes up

With the pop server apparently working, not all of the messages I receive
appear in outlook 2007.  The majority of the messages are synchronized
between gmail and outlook but not all which is a bit of a problem.  Any
suggestions as to how to get the skipped messages to be be ...

Appreciateb your support to tell me how can i set a default font/size/...etc
to be used when creating new mail message or when forwarding or replying to
any received mail???

Emails are bouncing back to me with message:
550: Authentication turned on in email client.  What can I do about this?
