The general performace of Office/Outlook 2007 is fine.
However when Outlook scans and begins to receive e-mail,
everything else on my systems 'freezes', including the ability to even
input text into Word.

I have Outlook 2003 and use gmail as my server.  I used to not get anything I
sent directly to myself or cc or bcc, now I created a rule to get around the
"To" issue (so I can receive emails when i send them directly to myself), but
I still cannot get them when I cc or bcc myself ...

Saved contacts and folders from Outlook Express on USB card.  Yesterday was
successful in uploading contacts from Outlook Express to new PC which uses
Windows Vista and Outlook 2007.  Click on both the mail and address boxes but

Our company has some users on Outlook 2007 and some users on MACs on
Entourage Email.  When Outlook users send any attachments the MAC
users can't open the attachments.  Even if the MAC users save the file
to the desktop then try to open or select the file and choose the

Is there any way to change the overall "look-n-feel" of Outlook 2007?  I
noticed that it is possible to change the "color scheme"
(blue/black/silver), but if possible I would like it to look like (any)

I have outlook 2003. it works fine for 2 weeks and then will not send and
recieve. anymore. I fix it by deleting the mail accounts and setting them up
again. it works fine for 2 weeks, then same thing again. any Ideas?
I am using Norton 2007 antivirus OEM.

my son is in college and his school has a *edu domain.

My Outlook shows week 1 2008 that this is week 52 week 2007.
My other Outlook (2003 (11.8118.8132) does not show this and week 1 starts

so I have outlook set up with a gmail account and it works great except, when
i get a new email and i read it it gets marked as read in outlook but not in
my actual gmail, so if i ever try to check my gmail somewhere else, it says i

I am trying to put a jpg image in the message body...which I am able to do

I am not sure why someone would want this.
I was asked to help someone set up Outlook this way.
Supposedly the user was able to view Outlook in this manner before.
