When I delete an email it does not appear in my deleted items folder, only
deleted sent mail seems to go in to the deleted items folder? Other deleted
items, such as mail from my inbox, just disppears??

I back up my entire system using Acronis True Image to a separate drive. A
disk failed and I reinstalled XP. However the Outlook folders,archives and
contacts did not transfer from the backup. Is it possible to restore these
files?

I wanted to view the attached emails (the .eml when forwarded) to be viewed

I use Outlook 2002 SP3 and Windows XP Professional SP2.
I find the mail merge functions associated with Outlook are horribly clumsy
and labour intensive. I find it much easier to initiate mail merge from Word,
after creating a suitable data file from the selected database software ...

I'm having a hard time getting my old address book (from Outlook 2003)
transferred over to my new (Outlook 2007) folder.   I'm also having the same
problem with getting my Personal folder transferred over as well.

Anyone aware of problems assigning tasks (Outlook 2003) where assignee cannot
open the task, and when tasks are updated, the original sender receives the
update but it remains in the inbox (does not update the original task).

It seems like Outlook 2007 is using Word 2007 as its editor (the same
features and dialog boxes are there), but I'm blocked from accessing the
Word object model.
*    Is there a way to "unblock" access to the Word object model?
