I am having problems sending emails (but not receiving them) and some internet sites such as downloading windows updates and online banking transactions. The two problems arose at the same time. I am using XP Professional and Outlook 2003.

My outlook is often slow to send \ receive. Of more concern is that I regularly see a message "sending 8 of 8 emails", whereas I will not have that many to send. So it is either a bug, or more seriously some form of malware. Anyone know of this?

I am trying to save paper by using elctronic notes rather than posts-its. This is a 'green issue'. If someone sends me a note it comes as an attchement to an email and I cannot save the Note just the email.

I am using pop3 for my gmail & rediff id. But all my mails of rediff will be pooled to outlook but in gmail, a copy will be left in gmail inbox. Also while sending a message from rediff id, i get the following error

Is it possible to reformat the Week/Month View of Outlook 2003 or 2007 to count week numbers starting with the Fiscal Year (OCT-SEP), instead of the Calendar Year (JAN-DEC)?

I am trying to recover 4 outlook pst files which were deleted along with the 3 level of directories above them. To make the problem complicate, these 4 pst files got 0 byte sized before they were deleted(suspect problem with outlook as it was trying to recover

Whenever I forward an e-mail it changes embedded photos to a hyperlink and when I send an enclosed e-mail address it changes it to an hyperlink
