the error message appears when I attempt to open the program, stating that
the file \outlook.pst is in use and cannot be accessed.  I haven't opened the
file (cause I've never figured out how to open a .pst file).  How can I fix

Got a question regarding Outlook 2007.  I have two e-mail accounts (or
profiles) set up for Outlook...
1) Exchange Server
2) POP3

Yesterday a janitor pulled my PC's power cord. When I restarted the system
(Windows XP Professional) today and tried to start Outlook 2007, the Outlook
window background appeared with the Microsoft logo, and froze there.
Restarting the operating system didn't help.

I'm trying to help someone create a distribution list but am faced with a
