This morning I started archiving my inbox and 6 hours later it is still
going, with no sign of letting up.  What's going on?  It doesn't seem to be
doing anything, but in the lower right corner I see the "Archving Inbox to

I have a number of users on Windows XP and Outlook 2003 who hot-desk
with roaming profiles.  I have used Group Policy to redirect their
Application Data folder so that their signature files are stored on
the server rather than the local machine.

All of my contacts in Outlook 2003 (SP3) are "filed as" Last Name,
Firstname.
Under the "display as" text box  I change the name from First Name Last Name
to Last Name, Firstname.

I have been receiving forwarded attachments and had no trouble opening them
until, a few days ago. I can not open them any more.
They just show as a folder (as before) and could be any type of file. I am
not sure what has changed.
