Just over a week ago Outlook stopped working completely on my laptop, if I try to load I get box which states Outlook has encountered a problem & needs to close ... Option to restart and send error report. Whichever options I take it still won't open not even in safe mode!

I am using MS Office 2003. When I receive new e-mails in my default Inbox there is no envelope icon displayed in the notification area even though I ticket this in the advanced e-mail options area.
