Outlook 2003, Windows XP, POP3 e-mail, NO network or exchange server
I have a standalone desktop computer and I only connect to the Internet.
When I download my e-mails from godaddy in the mornings it is a very slow
process on my end. The icon in the system tray says that Outlook ...

Why is it that in my Outlook 2000 at work I have problems getting and sending
emails. Sometimes it can take an hour or more for an email to be delivered or
received from the office next door. The emails may be anywhere from 1kb to
5mb. Doesn't seem to matter. Can anyone help?

I've been tasked with finding a solution to allow us to populate all new
starters email signiture. Anyone know of any solutions that will allow this?
Alternatively, can I develope a solution (.Net) to allow me to do this?
We are using Exchange Server 2003 and Outlook 2003.
Outlook 2007 - Some HTML e-mails distorted23 May 2008 05:37 GMT3
I get some HTML e-mails that show the images 'out of place.'  What I mean by
this is that there are blank blocks within the image that displace images.
This gives a puzzle board like effect where the pieces are scattered, but
all the pieces are there, just not in the right place.

I am using Windows Vista Business version and Office 2007 Enterprise.
I found that every email with chinese character receive in Outlook 2007 was
not able to display the character properly.  It either appear as "?" or "□"
symbol throughout my email.

On May 14, four Office-related updates were installed on my Vista machine,
and since then Outlook causes the CPU to go up to about 27% / 28% and stay
there, even after Outlook is closed.
Note: There is no mobile device attached to this PC (just in case anybody

When receiving emails the time it states it arrives is out by 17 hours.  How

I created a .vcf and tested sending it to myself.  When I did so and clicked
on the activities tab, every email, task, etc was listed!  Is that because
I'm opening it up on my own computer?  Is this information going to appear to
everyone I send this .vcf to?

I am trying to use the delievery receipt function sometimes they come in and
go to junk mail and other times I can't find them at all. Am I not getting
them? I have even tested sending emails to myself to test this function with
